• 실제로 파는건 아니지만 귤껍질까지 동원해 라이언 귀까지 만들어봤다....흰색 화이트가 있었으면 완벽한 라이언이었을텐데....그래도 귀엽게 만들어져서 다행이네요..^^

1년된 미국의 족보있는 고양이 암컷 2마리와 수컷 1마리 랙돌 그리고 역시 1년된 미국의 족보있는 암컷 오스트레일리안 셰퍼드입니다.

These are our 1 year old 2 female and 1 male Ragdoll cats and 1 year old female Australian Shepherd from US.

 

• 랙돌

래그돌(ragdoll)은 미국이 원산지인 고양이 품종으로, 조상은 화이트 롱헤어와 버먼이다. 성격은 온화하고 느긋하며 인내심이 강하여 아이들이 장난을 쳐도 잘 참기 때문에, 아이들이 있는 가족의 애완동물로 인기가 많은 편이다.
1960년 처음으로 품종 개량을 받은 이후 ,지금에 들어서는 6개의 컬러와 3개의 패턴으로 구분되고 있다. 털은 중간 길이이며 매끄럽고 부드러우며 촘촘하다. 대형종 고양이로 몸체의 크기와 색채를 완전히 지니기 위해서는 2~3년 안팎이 걸린다.

The Ragdoll is a cat breed with blue eyes and a distinct colorpoint coat. It is a large and muscular semi-longhair cat with a soft and silky coat. Like all long haired cats, Ragdolls need grooming to ensure their fur does not mat. Developed by American breeder Ann Baker in the 1960's, it is best known for its docile and placid temperament and affectionate nature. The name "Ragdoll" is derived from the tendency of individuals from the original breeding stock to go limp and relaxed when picked up. Particularly popular in both the United Kingdom and the breed's native United States, ragdoll cats often are known as "dog-like cats" or "puppy-like cats" due to behaviors such as their tendency to follow people around, their ease at being physically handled, and their relative lack of aggression toward other pets.

 

• 오스트레일리언 셰퍼드(Australian Shepherd)

오스트레일리언 셰퍼드(Australian Shepherd)는 미국[USA, United States of America, 美國] 캘리포니아 주 원산의 목양견이며, 애칭은 오지(Aussie)라고도 부른다. 오스트레일리아[Australia, 濠州, 호주]가 원산지라고 생각하기 쉽지만, 오스트레일리아로 이주한 바스크인(Basques人)들이 데려온 양치기 개가 미국으로 건너가 오늘날의 목양견[sheep dog, 牧羊犬]으로 개량된 것으로 보인다.
오스트레일리언 셰퍼드는 목양견과 안내견으로서의 본능이 강하며 하루종일 일을 해도 지치지 않을 정도로 체력이 강하다. 충직한 반려동물이며, 운동할 때 데리고 다니는 애완견으로 인기가 높다. 활기가 넘치며 유연하고 행동이 재빠르다. 주의 깊고 주인에게 충성심이 높다. 영리할 뿐 아니라, 성품이 좋아 공격적이지 않으며, 낯선 사람에게 부끄럼을 탄다. 걸음걸이는 밝고 경쾌하고 편해 보인다.
The Australian Shepherd is a medium-sized breed of dog that was developed on the ranches in the Western United States. Despite its name, the breed was not developed in Australia, but rather in the United States, where they were seen in the West as early as the 19th century. The breed rose gradually in popularity with the boom of Western riding after World War II. They became known to the general public through rodeos, horse shows, and Disney movies made for television.
For many years, Aussies have been valued by stockmen for their versatility and trainability. They have a similar look to the popular English Shepherd and Border Collie breeds. While they continue to work as stock dogs and compete in herding trials, the breed has earned recognition in other roles due to their trainability and eagerness to please and are highly regarded for their skills in obedience. Like all working breeds, the Aussie has considerable energy and drive and usually needs a job to do. It often excels at dog sports such as dog agility, and frisbee. They are also highly successful search and rescue dogs, disaster dogs, detection dogs, guide dogs, service dogs, and therapy dogs. They are considered the 17th-most popular dog breed in the United States.
